Rear Window Blind, electricAn electric rear window blind, such as is available for the Passat for example, covers the entire rear window. It is located in guide rails in the C-post. It is operated by an electric motor. The rear window blind covers the window completely, reducing direct sunlight falling on the occupants and any unwanted heating of the interior. When the rear window blind is not needed it sinks flush into the rear shelf and neither impairs the vehicle's looks nor the driver's rear vision.
